Terms for the use of services provided by Kan AS, org.nr. 930 914 606 through the digital service Kan. You are considered to have accepted the terms of use by using the service.
About Kan AS
Kan AS is a company within the Kredinor AS group that offers a service and a product in financial health and personal finance.
Our goal is to help people out of debt problems and improve the user's financial health by providing them with financial overview, general knowledge elevation, and individual financial advice.
Kan conveys knowledge and tools that can help you make more informed and sustainable financial choices, so you can gain control over your finances and be better equipped to handle financial challenges.
About the service, Kan
Through Kan, we will provide you with an overview of your finances and tailored financial advice and guidance related to your personal finance.
The service includes functionalities such as:
- Overview of your financial situation,
- Budgeting and planning,
- Activities you can do yourself or with advice from Kan to improve your personal finance.
Through Kan, we also offer individual advisory services via the internet or phone depending on what suits you best. Individual financial advice includes:
- Review of your financial situation
- Information and guidance on financial management, budget planning, and debt management
- Help to set goals and specific actions to improve your finances.
To be able to obtain such information, and to be able to give you financial advice and guidance regarding your personal finances, as well as assistance in negotiating and entering into agreements with your creditors, Kan AS needs authorization from you.
The service is primarily a digital self-service solution but also includes individual personal advice. Kan AS's range of services is continuously developed, and you will receive information about and access to new products and new functionality as they are launched.
Kan AS processes personal data about you when you use our services. In our privacy policy, you will find general information about how personal data is processed by us and what rights you have.
User Requirements
To be able to create an account with Kan and to use the services of Kan AS, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Either be employed in a company that has an agreement with Kan or one of Kan's partners
- Have an email address and BankID
- Have read and approved our privacy policy and these terms
- Have given Kan AS authorization to obtain information about you. Authorization is signed in the app.
- Have consented that Kan AS can process personal data about you, cf. our consent form in the app and our privacy policy.
You are responsible for providing us with correct, complete, and updated information about yourself.
Your registered user account is personal and should not be used by others or shared with others.
In case of misuse of our services or use contrary to the purpose of the service and these terms, Kan AS can close your user account.
Access to the service
Before you can use Kan AS's service, you must register as a user. This is done by logging in with BankID, connecting data sources, and entering your email address in the digital service.
Both at first use and at subsequent logins, BankID must be used for identification and retrieval of personal information.
At first use, necessary consents to the service are obtained, both for general use of the service and for integration with APIs to services that, among other things, provide information about income, wealth, and debt. It is also possible to manually enter relevant information, such as income, debt, saving/wealth, etc., which is not available via APIs.
All data is retrieved based on explicit consent from you, as well as verification through two-factor authentication (BankID). You can withdraw a given consent at any time.
Communication with Kan and privacy settings
When you use the service, you accept that Kan AS sends information via email and SMS related to your use of the service. In your customer profile on kan.no, you can manage your consents and preferences.
Service paid by employer
If the service is paid for by your employer, it is regarded as a fringe benefit. This means that the service is taxable.
Price
The price is regulated by the current agreement between Kan AS and the contracting party.
Kan AS's Responsibility
Kan AS offers advice and guidance to help you improve your financial health through financial overview, general knowledge elevation, and individual financial advice. Our app and our experienced advisors will provide you with relevant tools, support, and expertise in this process.
Kan AS cannot guarantee that our products will always be available and error-free. If errors, downtime, or disruptions occur in our services, we will do our best to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
Kan AS provides financial advice to the best of its ability and based on available information. Kan AS assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information you have provided to us. Financial advice is guiding, and the final responsibility for making financial decisions lies with you. Kan AS cannot be held responsible for any losses or damages resulting from your use, interpretation, or omissions of advice. The outcome of financial advice may vary depending on various factors, and no guarantees are given for specific outcomes.
Changes to the Terms
These terms and our privacy policy may be updated as needed. An updated version of the terms can be found in the app and on our website, www.kan.no.
